Jesus is the Life
The Lord Jesus offered Himself as a perfect sacrifice like a lamb offering in the Old Testament as payment for all sinners (Leviticus 4-6) with eternal effect.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4: For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures
The reason why the Lord Jesus came... To save much sinners bound for Hell.
Matthew 1:21: And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the only "way" to Eternal Life...
John 14:6: Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 17:3: And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
All people are condemned because of sin...
Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:22: For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
Note: When Adam and Eve sinned against God, all people born after them are cursed with sin. Hence everyone needs a Savior through faith so sins can be forgiven and judgement will be turned to eternal life with God.
We can only receive Eternal Life when we put our "Faith" in the Lord Jesus Christ...
Acts 16:30-31: And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”. So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
What is God's command for everyone?
1 John 3:23: And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.
No form of good works where one can gain merit to enter Heaven, but only by Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ...
Romans 3:28: Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.
Ephesians 2:8-9: For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Salvation in action by faith and not through good works.
Luke 23:42-43: Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”
Note: The criminal on the side of the Lord Jesus who wished to be remembered by the Lord didn't have time to pay for his sins through good works. What he had was to seek forgiveness for his sins and believe in the Lord. And he did, so he was saved...
Without trusting the Lord Jesus Christ, one will only receive the wrath of God...
John 3:36: He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.
The Lord Jesus Christ will come again to earth for the second time to reign and judge all men...
Acts 1:9-12 - Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”
